Unique collaboration between Flemish media results in 'the Media App'

Public broadcasters may still very much be alive and kicking, the questions about their role and place in society and the media landscape keeps defenders and critics going. In his doctoral research, Tim Raats (iMinds - SMIT - VUB) links the survival of public broadcasters primarily to their role as a central hub: "Saying that the survival of public broadcasters depends on cooperation might be an overstatement, but it is clear that cooperation will be crucial for them.'
