New sources for visual data quickly become commonplace, like time-of-flight cameras, hyperspectral cameras, radars, lidars, lens-free cameras, and so on. Additionally, new displays become available such as see through and curved displays, holographic displays, light field displays, and so on. This research track extends an existing compression and visualization toolbox towards the emerging light field, mesh and holography technologies. Additionally, a framework will be developed to objectively and subjectively evaluate the quality of experience of these visualizations, thus, the quality as perceived by the end user.
